kyu camera
How do I turn it on?
Press and hold the center button to turn the camera on or off. From sleep, press once to wake it, and once more to start recording.
How long can I record?
Each recording is up to 9 seconds, up to 27 times a day.
How do I transfer videos to my phone?
Remove the memory unit from the camera and plug it directly into your phone. After you stop recording, wait a moment before removing the memory unit. Removing it right away may corrupt the recording.
Can it take photos?
Yes. You can switch photos on or off in the camera settings of the kyu app.
How long does the battery last?
About 2–3 days at 27 recordings a day. It charges over USB Type-C.
Can I see other people's cameras or videos?
Only when you are invited to a group in the app, and only the videos shared within that group.
Does it work with a Lightning iPhone?
The memory unit uses a USB-C connection. With a Lightning iPhone you will need an OTG-compatible USB-C to Lightning adapter.

What is kyu-v?
An app that imports the videos and photos you shoot with kyu camera to your iPhone and shares them with the people you invite.
Which phones are compatible?
Can I use kyu-v without a kyu camera?
Yes. The app alone can record up to 9 seconds × 9 times, so you can try the experience without the camera.
Who can I share my videos with?
Only within invite-only groups. Nothing is made public.
Do I need to edit the videos?
No editing needed. A highlight video is created automatically from your clips.
Is there a storage limit?
Your data is saved automatically in the kyu app, and you can look back at past memories at no extra cost.
Can I post to social media?
There is no direct share-to-social feature in the app. It is designed for sharing memories with the people close to you.

What is kyu-m?
An app that imports the videos and photos you shoot with kyu camera to your iPhone, automatically creates highlights and collages, and saves them to your camera roll.
Can I use kyu-m without a kyu camera?
It is mainly for importing what you shoot with kyu camera. If you use kyu-v without a kyu camera, you can import that data.
What are the requirements?
iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
